A Partnership to Serve Our Movements
Whether you’ve taken past courses with me, been in community with me elsewhere, or followed my writing through Toward Solidarity, I know that many of you share a deep commitment to transforming the practice of white anti-racism. Many of you have also already carried the themes of this book into your own political work — showing people how racism has been used for centuries as a tool of the powerful to divide and control, and pointing white folks toward a deeper source of belonging that can drive their work for social change.
The goal of this book project is to take this renewed form of practice — which many of us have already engaged in together in course communities — and to spread it far and wide so that it can shape culture and power our social movements.
